Carbon-Containing Pellets with Laterite Nickel Ore(3)

Carbon-Containing Pellets with Laterite Nickel Ore(3)

Laterite nickel ore contains higher kaolinite, and kaolinite belongs to clay mineral, so it has greater plasticity. The bonding force between molecules can be fully exerted in the ball pressing process, so that the laterite mineral powder is easy to form balls, and the mineral powder has a certain particle size composition, irregular particle shape, rough surface, and the particles can fully fit in the briquetting process, thus improving the briquette strength.

China is rich in iron ore resources, but most of them are low-grade ores, including many hematite, limonite, siderite, etc., which are characterized by low iron grade, fine crystal size, compact distribution with gangue, and difficult dissociation of monomers. Therefore, it is difficult to use conventional beneficiation methods for separation and cannot be reasonably utilized. With the rapid development of iron and steel industry, there are fewer and fewer rich ores available for utilization. Therefore, it is of great significance to effectively develop and utilize low-grade iron ore and complex symbiotic ores.

For the pelletizing performance of mineral powder, the greater the plasticity of mineral powder, the smaller the resistance during pelletizing, and the easier the particles are to produce plastic deformation. It can exert greater molecular adhesion, thus improving the ball pressing performance of the material. The plasticity of ball pressing materials mainly depends on the structural composition of the materials.

Nickel, as an important strategic metal material, has various advantages such as corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, high temperature resistance, high strength and good ductility, and is widely used in modern industry. Nickel is mainly used to produce stainless steel. 65% of the world's total nickel consumption is used to produce stainless steel and 12% is used to produce heat-resistant alloys and non-ferrous metal alloys. It is an indispensable and important metal. At present, the known nickel reserves in the world are about 160 million tons, of which nickel sulfide ore accounts for about 30% and laterite nickel ore for about 70%. Due to the low nickel content in laterite nickel ore, difficult recovery and poor economic benefits, the nickel produced by laterite nickel ore accounts for only 42% of the world's nickel output. However, in the long run, laterite nickel ore will be the main source of nickel in the future.

Hardener of Sodium Silicate-Magnesium Chloride

Hardener of Sodium Silicate-Magnesium Chloride

2020-11-09

The common hardeners of sodium silicate binder are ammonium chloride, magnesium chloride, alumina, etc. In order to reduce the dosage of ammonium chloride, ammonium chloride-magnesium chloride composite hardener scheme is selected. In this scheme, only ammonium chloride is used to harden the first two layers and magnesium chloride is used to harden the reinforced layer, thus significantly reducing the usage of ammonium chloride.

The crushing strength of granulated salt is mainly determined by two methods: throwing high crushing strength mainly characterizes the strength properties of secondary crushing of granulated salt and determines the design of technological process.

The stirring system of VKM-5 double-shaft differential vertical kneader consists of mixing kettle, solid paddle and hollow paddle. The inner wall of the mixing kettle is a hollow thermal insulation layer, which is filled with 30 ℃ constant temperature water provided by the water supply system.

Improvement of Sodium Silicate Binder by Syrup

Improvement of Sodium Silicate Binder by Syrup

2020-10-29

In the past, the binder used in chemical hardening method was only sodium silicate, and its strength and surface strength were most suitable when modulus was 2. Even so, the ventilation time is relatively long and the collapse is poor. Therefore, it is necessary to add appropriate additives to improve the performance of sodium silicate. Through experiments on various organic materials, it is found that syrup has the lowest price and can improve the performance of sodium silicate. In addition, starch was also tested.

Salt is a necessity for people's life and an important basic chemical raw material. China has a history of vacuum salt making for more than 40 years. However, the single production structure of the salt industry has hindered the technological innovation and development of the salt industry.

Application of Pulp Waste Liquid Binder

Under the condition that the proportion of moisture and clay is unchanged and the pile tightness is the same, the wet compressive strength and dry tensile strength will be improved with the increase of pulp waste liquid in the mixture. When the addition amount reaches 6-7%, the wet compressive strength will begin to decrease, but the dry tensile strength will not increase significantly.
